Conversational Prayer

What This Practice Cultivates

Conversational Prayer is not about getting answers.
It is about becoming available.

As this way of prayer matures, many experience a growing sense of safety with God, an increased capacity for stillness, and clearer discernment of His invitations. Prayer shifts from effort to attentiveness, from striving to responsiveness.

This is not technique-driven prayer.
It is relational formation.

How This Space Is Held

Sessions are gently guided and unhurried, held by trained companions who listen with you rather than for you. Silence is honored. Scripture is welcomed. Nothing is forced.

You are not told what to hear. You are helped to recognize what is already happening.

This practice is meaningful whether you feel fragmented or flourishing—especially for those longing to experience God as present, responsive, and near.

A life lived in Holy dialogue

Conversational Prayer is a way of living attentively with God—learning to recognize His voice, respond from the heart, and remain present to His nearness. This is prayer shaped by relationship rather than performance, where listening is not passive and speaking is not scripted. Here, prayer becomes an exchange.

God initiates.
You attend.
The relationship deepens.

Rooted in stillness, emotional honesty, and Spirit-led discernment, this practice trains the senses to notice how God speaks—in Scripture, inner awareness, imagery, memory, desire, and quiet knowing. Over time, this attentiveness forms a life lived from God’s Presence rather than toward it.

“God is always speaking. The question is whether we are present enough to hear.”

Witness From The Way

“Through my time with Kirsten, I learned how to let God converse with my heart—not just my thoughts. I’ve watched this way of prayer bring healing and clarity into my own life, and even into my son’s. As he learned to listen for the Father, something shifted in him—his posture, his attentiveness, his peace. What I’ve come to trust is this: when we stop striving and allow God to meet us where we truly are, He does more than answer questions. He restores the heart.”

Who This Pathway Is For

Conversational Prayer often resonates with those who are weary of formulaic prayer, hungry for a more experiential life with God, and ready to trust His voice within their own inner world.

No expertise is required.
Only willingness.

This way of prayer is not meant to be practiced in isolation. At Monarch Springs, Conversational Prayer is held within relational attentiveness—where listening is witnessed, discernment is nurtured, and the soul is given space to respond honestly to God.
